The Little Book of Solar

An engaging marketing piece was needed to establish a point of difference for this renewable energy client in Australia’s crowded and competitive solar energy market that would also educate potential buyers on the benefits of going solar.

‘The Little Book of Solar’ was created to bring fun to the ‘hows’ and ‘whys’ of using solar electricity at home. Under the ‘Solar Academy’ Solar Shop brand, illustrated scenes, and characters such as Professor PV (short for photovoltaic), customer service staff and customers explain green energy, offering interesting facts and helpful energy saving tips along the way. The A6 booklet was sustainably printed on uncoated 100% post-consumer recycled Australian paper, with the cheery colour palette and easy language setting it apart from a retail marketplace dominated by ‘glossies’.
